This program certifies individuals to be competent to conduct field tests on fresh concrete. It covers details of ASTM procedures. This a liocensing procedure, so following directions is important.

Each class (listed by month) consists of 4 sessions, and written and performance examinations. The performance exam requires the ability to correctly perform and record the results of field tests on fresh concrete. This test requires the physical ability to lift the required weights. Renewals: To maintain Certified status with ACI, you must renew every 5 (five) years.

PROCESS:
1. CLICK ON THE APPLICATION LINK TO DOWNLOAD AND PRINT YOUR APPLICATION.
2. CLICK ON THE SCHEDULE LINK ABOVE TO FIND THE CLASS SCHEDULE.
3. CLICK ON THE FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQ'S) LINK AND READ THEM.
4. SELECT AN OPEN CLASS FROM THE SCHEDULE AND COMPLETE YOUR APPLICATION.
5. MAIL OR FAX THE APPLICATION WITH PAYMENT TO THE ADDRESS ON APPLICATION.
6. AFTER 14 DAYS, COME BACK TO THE WEBSITE AND LOOK AT THE CLASS ON THE SCHEDULE THAT YOU REGISTERED FOR AND SEE YOUR NAME.
7. IF YOUR NAME APPEARS, YOU ONLY NEED TO SHOW UP AT THE CLASS.
8. IF YOUR NAME DOES NOT APPEAR, LOOK IN YOUR SECOND CHOICE CLASS. IF YOUR NAME APPEARS, YOU ONLY NEED TO SHOW UP AT YOUR CLASS.

How do I register and confirm my registration?

1. Read the FAQs, choose two classes not marked "FULL", and complete the application. Be sure that all information is printed clearly and is legible.
2. Copy your application and keep it for your records and future reference. (You may need it later.)
3. Mail your completed application with payment to the address at the top of the application or fax it with credit card information to (562) 692-3425.
4. A confirmation telling to which class you are assigned will be sent to you in about TWO WEEKS. If both your first and second choice classes are already full, your application will be returned to you for resubmittal.
5. If you have not received your confirmation or your original application back for resubmittal FOUR WEEKS from the time you mailed it, resubmit it to us because we may not have received it.
